Establishment of 20 health centers in Baghlan in the last three years
Over the past three years, the Department of Health of Baghlan province has established 20 health centers for essential medical services.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: Dr. Abdul Ghafar Ahmadi, the Director of Baghlan’s Public Health Department, told Bakhtar News Agency that these centers have been funded by international aid organizations and strategically located in areas where residents can easily avail themselves of healthcare services.
According to Dr. Ahmadi, the establishment of these centers has significantly expanded access, now reaching 80% of Baghlan’s population. He further emphasized that the Directorate is committed to extending quality healthcare services to even the most remote parts of the province.
Currently, 84 healthcare facilities are operational in Baghlan, including three hospitals and mobile health teams. Dr. Ahmadi also announced that a 20-bed rehabilitation hospital, dedicated to the treatment of female and child addicts, is set to begin operations in the near future./Bakhtar News
