The massive attacks of the Zionist regime on southern Lebanon / UNICEF expresses concern for the martyrdom of children
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "I am deeply concerned about the continuous increase in attacks in Lebanon and Israel, which according to today's reports killed at least 27 children in southern Lebanon." This was stated by the director of the United Nations Children's Fund.

Referring to the spread of conflicts in West Asia, Catherine Russell emphasized that the increase in violence will lead to the escalation of risks for civilians in the region.

According to Anatolia news agency, the director of UNICEF further said that children in Lebanon and Israel are experiencing severe psychological trauma due to continued airstrikes and displacement from their homes.

While the Zionist regime killed hundreds of Lebanese in its airstrikes after exploding pagers and communication devices, Russell, without referring to the initiator of the attacks, called on the parties to the conflict to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian laws to protect civilians, infrastructure, and aid workers.

Yesterday, the Zionist regime's fighters carried out extensive attacks on the southern and eastern regions of Lebanon, according to the Lebanese health authorities, at least 558 people were martyred, 50 of whom were children.

These attacks have injured 1,700 Lebanese and forced thousands of civilians to leave their homes. In recent months, the international community has repeatedly warned about the increase in conflicts and the risk of a large-scale regional war in West Asia.
