Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: In a press release issued by the Islamic Emirate Embassy in Tashkent, it was announced that Ambassador Bahr was warmly welcomed upon his arrival at Tashkent International Airport.
He was greeted by Maghfurullah Shahab, the Embassy’s Counselor, along with a delegation of diplomats and staff from the Islamic Emirate Embassy, as well as officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, the Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also confirmed the ambassador’s arrival in an audio statement to Radio Omid. He noted that Abdul Ghaffar Bahr is set to formally begin his role in the coming days, marking a new chapter in diplomatic relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan./Bakhtar News
