Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf has informed about the visit of a delegation from this ministry headed by Sheikh Aziz al-Rahman Mansour, Deputy Minister of Mysticism and Religious Places, at the official invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to this ministry, this delegation is supposed to participate on behalf of the Islamic Emirate in the 38th International Meeting of Islamic Unity, which will be held in Tehran, the capital of Iran, under the title of "Islamic cooperation and achieving common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue."
It is said that during this period, nearly 2,500 people were invited to the conference, of which 78 are cultural and religious figures from the country, mostly ministers, muftis or heads of international organizations.
This is despite the fact that the previous day the members of the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution asking Israel to end the occupation of the Palestinian territories without delay and within the next 12 months.
