The media should operate according to the national interests of the country and Islamic values
The Ministry of Information and Culture says that the head of the publication affairs of the ministry said in the roundtable meeting of the Media Violations Evaluation Commission that the media should continue their work with regard to the country's national interests and Islamic values.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter saying that a roundtable meeting of the Commission for the Evaluation of Media Violations was held under the chairmanship of Maulavi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal, Head of the Ministry of Information and Culture's Publication Affairs.

In this meeting, the current activities of the media, media violations, coordination of assistance with the media and creation of a support fund for journalists and media were discussed.

In this meeting, Maulavi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal stated that the problems of the media have been addressed to some extent and stressed that the media should continue their work with regard to the national interests of the country and Islamic values.

Meanwhile, some journalists and media officials are complaining about lack of access to information.
