South Korea launched its first spy satellite
South Korea has confirmed yesterday (Saturday) that it has put the first military spy satellite into Earth orbit, which was launched by SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Al-Hura wrote: "The Ministry of Defense of South Korea announced in a statement: "The separation of this missile from the satellite occurred 11 minutes after the launch and it was put into orbit."

It should be noted that this successful launch took place less than two weeks after the launch of a military spy satellite by North Korea; Putting the satellite into orbit means that South Korea has the first indigenous spy satellite to monitor North Korea's nuclear activities, capable of detecting an object as small as 30 centimeters.
