The imposition of new restrictions by America has a negative effect on bilateral relations with the Islamic Emirate
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, in response to the imposition of visa restrictions for the officials of this government by the United States, following the recent negotiations in Doha, emphasized that such decisions can have a negative effect on bilateral relations.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: After the US Department of State imposed restrictions on current and former officials of the Islamic Emirate, members of non-governmental armed groups and other people who may be involved in imposing restrictions and violence on women and girls in Afghanistan. the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate wrote on his Twitter: This decision was announced while this week in Doha between the American officials and the Taliban, detailed meetings were held at various levels, and in these meetings, "important" issues were discussed.

On Wednesday, October 12, Abdul Qahar Balkhi emphasized in a series of tweets that the US should take positive steps regarding the recent Doha negotiations and show in practice that it seeks constructive interaction with the Islamic Emirate.

He added: "Such decisions can have a negative impact on bilateral relations."

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate said that the points of dispute should be resolved through diplomatic channels and such decisions are not in the interest of both parties and should be investigated.

Meanwhile, the US foreign minister has criticized the approach of this government towards women and girls in Afghanistan by announcing restrictions against the authorities of the Islamic Emirate.

The US foreign minister has asked other countries to take similar measures and emphasize the message that only a government in Afghanistan will be legitimate that represents all the people of that country and supports the human rights of individuals.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced, these restrictions are announced in the context of high-level negotiations between the Islamic Emirate, led by the head of the Intelligence Department, with the deputy of the US Central Intelligence Agency and the country's special representative for Afghanistan in Doha. This is the umpteenth time that the US imposes new restrictions and sanctions against the Islamic Emirate authorities following each stage of negotiations and once again proves that it is not reliable in any way.
