Gallup poll: 50% of Americans think the war in Afghanistan was wrong
A recent poll conducted by the Gallup Institute shows that 50% of American citizens consider that sending of troops to Afghanistan after the September 11 incident was a mistake.

Based on this poll, Democrats are more likely than Republicans to believe that the war in Afghanistan was a mistake. Democrats make up 58% and Republicans make up 37% of the interviewees.
 
According to the Gallup survey, the war in Afghanistan ultimately killed more than 2,400 American soldiers and injured more than 20,000 soldiers of their country, and this war cost the United States of America two trillion dollars.
