Russia: More than 20,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed in Kursk
The Ministry of Defense of Russia announced today in a report about the situation of conflicts in the Kursk province of this country and added that Ukraine has lost more than 20 thousand of its troops in this region so far.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Ukraine has lost a total of more than 20,650 troops, 136 tanks and 33 multiple launch missile systems during the war operations in the Kursk axis.

Today, the Russian Ministry of Defense also announced the loss of 400 Ukrainian soldiers (killed and wounded) in the border region of Kursk in the past day and night, and added that 17 people surrendered.

According to this ministry, 16 armored vehicles including a tank were destroyed.

On August 6 (16 Asad), the Ukrainian army was able to control parts of Kursk province of Russia in a surprise attack. The attack was the largest invasion into Russian territory since World War II, and the Russian military has been pushing the invaders out ever since.

Despite this attack, the Ministry of Defense of Russia has announced that the Kursk nuclear power plant continues to operate.

Some experts consider the control of this power plant as one of the goals of Kiev in attacking Kursk province of Russia.
