The start of the Ghor-Herat highway project

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to a statement from the Ghor Provincial Administration, the construction works have begun in the Zamanabad area of Pashtun Zarghun district, Herat. This highway, which will traverse central Afghanistan, is expected to significantly improve connectivity between provinces and provide essential transportation infrastructure for the region.
Residents of Ghor have expressed their appreciation for the Islamic Emirate’s commitment to fulfilling their development needs, emphasizing the importance of this project in improving local livelihoods.
The construction of the Ghor-Herat highway had been a priority of local authorities in Ghor for the past two years. With the official endorsement from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate and the Ministry of Public Works, the project is now moving forward.
