Afghanistan and Iran discussed border security
The senior border officials of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran convened a meeting to discuss and exchange views on border security.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: According to a statement from the Ministry of National Defense, the Islamic Emirate delegation, led by Haji Mohammad Rahim Khadem, Commander of the 10th Border Brigade of the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps, held discussions with Iranian counterparts, focusing on key issues such as coordination between border forces, strengthening border security, combating cross-border smuggling, and the restoration and maintenance of border pillars.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to continued dialogue and cooperation, ensuring future engagements to strengthen border management and regional security./Bakhtar News
