The US base in eastern Syria was hit by 30 rockets
The American base in the al-Omar oil field in eastern Syria was targeted by about 30 rockets this morning (Monday).
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The US base in al-Omar oil field in eastern Syria was attacked this morning (Monday).

"Al-Mayadeen" network, quoting a field source in Syria, reported that this operation was carried out in response to the US airstrike yesterday on a truck on the border of Al-Qaim and Bokmal.

Iraqi sources reported yesterday afternoon that an unidentified aerial bird, possibly American, attacked a truck in Syrian territory on the Bokmal-Qaim road.

Continuing his report, al-Mayadeen added that in today's operation, the US base was attacked with 30 rockets and the rockets directly hit the targets.

Local Syrian media have not published more details about the amount of damage caused to the American base and possible casualties. As of this report, no group has officially claimed responsibility for this operation.

American bases have been attacked many times by the Islamic resistance of Iraq in the past weeks. The Islamic resistance of Iraq considers the US to be the main responsible for the killing of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
