Thunder, hailstorms leave 4 dead or wounded in Nangarhar province
At least four people were killed or wounded in thunder and hailstorms in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan, the local authorities said.

The provincial government media office issued a statement confirming that a village was hit by thunder and hailstorm on Friday, leaving one dead and three more wounded.
The statement further added that a local elder identified as Asabuddin lost his life in the incident and three others sustained injuries.
The thunder and hailstorm hit the Ata Khan village in Kot district of Nangarhar province at around 4pm local time, the provincial government added.
The hail and thunderstorm also hit some parts of Pacher Agam district causing damages to the agricultural fields, crops, and trees, the provincial government said.
Some parts of Khogyani and Sherzad districts were also affected by the heavy thunder and hailstorms, the statement by the provincial government added.
