Several memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Technical Education Department and various departments with the aim of reducing poverty and creating employment

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The signing ceremony of the memorandums of cooperation between the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Islamic Emirate today (Wednesday, Oct 16) with the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Department of Prisons Affairs, the Academy of Sciences, the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan, the National Bank and The Institute for a Better Life for Afghans was signed at the Government Information and Media Center.

Maulvi Gholam Haider Shahamat, head of the Technical and Vocational Education Department, said in this ceremony that with the signing of the memorandum of cooperation with the National Bank, the necessary facilities will be provided for the payment of food for the students and educators of this department in the center and the provision of all conventional and Islamic banking services. 

He stated that the purpose of signing the memorandum of cooperation with the Better Life Institute for Afghans is to provide the basis for cooperation in the design and implementation of short-term training programs between the parties and to fight to reduce poverty through the creation of vocational and professional jobs.

 

According to the words of Maulvi Ghulam Haider Shahamat, the purpose of signing a memorandum of cooperation with the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan is to provide transparency, speed up the work process and provide banking services regarding the distribution of salaries of employees and teachers of the Technical and Vocational Education Department in the center.

The head of the Technical and Vocational Education Department stated that the purpose of signing the memorandum of cooperation between this department or the Ministry of Internal Affairs is to cooperate and coordinate between the parties to provide technical and vocational training and to create a foundation for technical and vocational training for drug addicts.

This official of the Islamic Emirate found the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Technical Education Department and the Academy of Sciences to be effective in strengthening academic relations and continuous scientific-research-educational cooperation and the optimal and effective use of opportunities, facilities, capacities and practical scientific achievements in order to achieve the goals of the parties.

Referring to the signing of the memorandum of understanding with the Prisons Affairs Regulatory Authority, he said that with the signing of the memorandum of cooperation, the conditions for professional and vocational training will be provided for the prisoners in order to provide livelihood during imprisonment and after release from prison.

It should be mentioned that the Department of Technical and Vocational Education has taught vocational and technical training to tens of thousands of young people and provided them with work in the country.
