Maulavi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal, head of Afghanistan's state-run Bakhtar News Agency and acting deputy minister of information and culture, attended the sixth international media conference held in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: 500 representatives and officials of important media outlets, news agencies and other media institutions from more than 190 countries participated in the international media conference.
 
The conference is scheduled to discuss the use of artificial intelligence in the media process and its negative and positive impacts, greater cooperation between the media and the current situation at the international level and the role of the media in broadcasting them.
 
The international media conference was hosted by China's state-run Xinhua News Agency in collaboration with other major news agencies.
 
Maulvi Zia-ul-Haq Haqmal, head of the state-run Bakhtar news agency and acting deputy minister of information and culture, represented Afghan media officials at the conference.
 
Bakhtar News Agency is the only state-run news agency in Afghanistan.
