Maduro: Russia and Venezuela sign a 10-year strategic alliance agreement
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced that Russia and Venezuela will sign a 10-year strategic partnership agreement at the end of this year.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Sputnik, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro announced in a television interview that Russia and Venezuela plan to sign a 10-year strategic alliance agreement at the intergovernmental commission meeting in December.

In this regard, he said: Vice President Delsey Rodriguez reported that the intergovernmental commission of the two countries will be held at the end of the year, and in this meeting we are going to sign a 10-year strategic alliance.

Nicolás Maduro added: Therefore, Venezuela considers Russia to be an older and good sister, and Russia considers Venezuela to be an essential and important force in Latin America.

Rodriguez traveled to Moscow at the end of September and met with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who is co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission.

Following the talks between Rodríguez and Chernyshenko, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry announced the preparation for the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission, which is scheduled to be held in Caracas at the end of this year.

The president of Venezuela also said: Russia has deep, strategic and fraternal relations with Venezuela. Commander Hugo Chávez and Vladimir Putin created something amazing. I contributed to this as a member of parliament, and then as president, we strengthened relations in all areas.
