A tribal conflict in Parachenar, Pakistan killed 31 people
A news source says that 31 people were killed and at least 70 were injured in the latest bloody tribal clashes in the Parachenar region in the northwest of Pakistan.
The conflicts between the two tribes living in the "Korem" region located in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with the center of the city "Pareche" have a long history, and the main reason for its occurrence is the disputes between the parties over agricultural and residential lands.

News sources announced that the intensification of armed conflicts in the past five days inside and on the outskirts of Parachenar region claimed the lives of 31 people and injured at least 70 others.

Sources close to Shia groups in Pakistan said that Takfiri and extremist forces are taking advantage of territorial disputes to target Shia residents of Parachinar city.

Despite the efforts of the tribal leaders and the state government to de-escalate the tension, the plan to establish a ceasefire in Parachenar has remained fruitless.

Koram tribal region is located in the northwest of Pakistan and close to the common border with Afghanistan. This has caused some concerns among the political and religious parties of Pakistan about the possibility of Takfiri and terrorist forces taking advantage of the lack of sufficient control over the common borders and the participation of militias to create security in the Parachinar region.
