The Muslim representative of the US Congress was condemned for criticizing the crimes of the Zionist regime
Rashida Tlaib, a Muslim representative in the US Congress, was reprimanded and condemned by other representatives for his words condemning the Zionist regime's crime against the people of Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The US House of Representatives voted on Tuesday, October 16, to convict Rashida Tlaib, a Democratic representative from Michigan and the only Palestinian-American in Congress.

Lawmakers in the US House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the statements of Rashida Talib, the only Palestinian-American representative of Congress.

This resolution was approved with 234 votes in favor and 188 votes against. 22 Democratic representatives voted in favor of this resolution and 4 Republican representatives opposed it.

In this resolution, Rashida Taleb was criticized for what he called "promoting false narratives about the October 7 attack by Hamas on Israel and calling for the destruction of Israel."

Rashida Taleb said in a statement in the House of Representatives: "It is a shame that my colleagues, while the number of deaths in Gaza has exceeded 10,000 people, focus more on silencing my voice than saving human lives."

He added: "Instead of recognizing the voice and perspective of the only American-Palestinian in Congress, my colleagues have turned to distorting my positions in a resolution full of buttermilk."

Republican Representative Rich McCormick called this act of Tlaib "anti-Semitic" and filed a complaint against Tlaib. "Taleeb has presented incredible lies about our greatest ally, Israel, and the October 7 attack," he said.

Tlaib defended his position and said: "I will not be silent and I will not let you distort my words." He said that his criticism of Israel has always been aimed at the government and its leadership during Netanyahu's prime ministership.

"It is important to separate the people and the government," he said. "The idea that criticism of the Israeli government is anti-Semitic creates a dangerous situation and will be used to silence the diverse voices that exist across our country for human rights."

This is despite the fact that Western countries have always spoken and chanted about freedom of speech and human rights, while they do not face the slightest criticism.
