Qatar strengthens inter-Afghan dialogues for stability and security in Afghanistan
Jawaharlal Abdulaziz Al-Suwaidi, deputy permanent representative of Qatar in Genoa, said that Doha supports and strengthens inter-Afghan dialogues to achieve a society that enjoys stability, security, peace and sustainable development.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Jawaharlal Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, Deputy Permanent Representative of Qatar in Geneva, said in a statement that the Qatari government is committed to supporting the people of Afghanistan and continuing to host meetings with international parties to ensure greater communication and coordination in Afghanistan. It has renewed the framework of promoting human rights and ensuring a decent life for the people of Afghanistan, as well as continuing to provide humanitarian aid.
 
He added that he supports and strengthens inter-Afghan dialogues to achieve a society that enjoys stability, security, peace and sustainable development.
 
Al Suwaidi added that Afghanistan faces many challenges, including economic and social challenges, weak infrastructure, limited resources and human capacities, ensuring equal access to education for all, especially for girls, the continuation of restrictions imposed on the banking and financial sector, meeting human needs and  food.
 
He emphasized the desire of the Qatari government to support efforts aimed at increasing the participation of Afghan women in the process of building peace and construction and the desire of this country to guarantee their right to education and equal job opportunities.
 
This Qatari official said that in this regard, it is important to empower women to achieve peace, stability and economic growth and to deal with social and economic challenges.
 
He noted that Qatar will host the "Second International Conference on Afghan Women's Education" on November 28-29, 2023 to mobilize international support for education in Afghanistan, discuss developments and review new initiatives that can achieve tangible progress in Afghanistan.
