McKenzie
General Frank McKenzie, the former leader of the US Central Command, has expressed his concern about his country's lack of access to information about the situation in Afghanistan and has stated that compared to the years of its presence in Afghanistan, the US has access to only 3% of the information it needs.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Daily Wire news website, Frank McKenzie, the retired US general and former leader of the US Central Command yesterday (Sunday, September 11) in an interview with CBS channel, expressed his concern about the limitation of US intelligence capacity in Afghanistan.

"I think we have a very limited ability to monitor Afghanistan right now," McKenzie said.

He added: "I think we have less than two or three percent of the intelligence capabilities we had before leaving Afghanistan."

McKenzie also said that he advised President Joe Biden to keep 2,500 troops in Afghanistan; but in response, he was told that such a move would send a bad signal.

In response to a question related to the US government's assessment that ISIS and al-Qaeda are not a threat to America, this retired general said that these groups can still be "reconstructed" and cause problems in the future.

He also said that the Biden government's report on the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan should have been shared with the American public.

America's withdrawal from Afghanistan happened after the Islamic Emirate's 20-year wars against NATO forces led by the United States and the rapid collapse of the American-backed government.
