Painting exhibition opened at National Gallery
A painting works exhibition ‘Rangarang’ was opened at the National Gallery of the Ministry of Information and Culture, on Tuesday, BNA reported.
The exhibition was held to mark the International Women’s Day, where over 40 painting works of six artists including girls and boys from ‘Kahkashan Painting Group’ were exhibited, said the agency.
During the inauguration ceremony, advisor to the Ministry of Information and Culture (MoIC), Dr. Tariq Reshad praised the work of Kahkashan Painting Group’s painters works and called holding of such exhibition a valuable step in the growth of the young artists talents, particularly the boys, according to the agency.
He also lauded the role of women in various fields and emphasized that women have shined well in the cultural and art fields and have valuable works.
Two of the Kahkashan Painting Group, Zahra Hakimi and Hanifa Rezaye provided information about their art works to the participants of the ceremony and said they wanted to illustrate the message of peace and reconciliation and the voice of women and people of the country to the world.
Sabera Rahmani, the in-charge of the National Gallery also spoke about the issue and said the art works of the painters narrated their talents in the painting.
She also assured the cooperation of the National Gallery with the artists in holding art exhibitions, the agency quoted.
