Hekmatyar also calls for nullification of 300,000 votes
Afghan presidential candidate Gulbuddin Hekmaytar on Monday called for nullification of 300,000 votes which he said did not come through biometric devices.

As the Independent Election Commission has started partial recount of votes, Hekmatyar objected it saying it should be conducted based on the agreement of the candidates and in the presence of their observers.
He claimed that massive fraud happened during in the election and offered several alternatives for resolving the crisis.
He said that new election should be held in 2,432 polling stations, biometric devices of which went missing.
He said there should be full recount not just those 8,000 polling stations which IEC “unilaterally decided.”
He said that only votes cast using biometric verification devices should be counted.
Hekmatyar said that the election has no winner and it would be headed to second round.
He said that a caretaker government should be formed before holding future vote.
Hekmatyar's remarks come a day after another presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah said that President Ghani's side was pushing to include some 300,000suspicious votes.
