Two policemen were killed in another attack on the vaccination team in Pakistan
According to reports, two bodyguards of a polio vaccination team were killed in Banui district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan after being shot by unknown gunmen.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistani media has seriously reported on Tuesday, January 19, that following this attack, two more policemen were wounded.
 
It should be noted that this incident occurred a day after the attack on the polio vaccination team guards in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
 
According to reports, at least 7 people were killed and 27 others were injured in that attack.
 
So far, no individual or group has claimed responsibility for this shooting; But the responsibility of the Bajaur attack has been taken by ISIS and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
 
Previously, police forces and polio vaccination teams have been subjected to armed attacks in various regions of Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan.
 
Also, the Daily Telegraph newspaper, by publishing a report in response to the attack on the convoy of polio vaccinators, emphasized that the conspiracy theory against the vaccine is a major obstacle to the eradication of this disease in Pakistan.
 
It is worth mentioning that after this attack, the vaccination campaign was suspended in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
 
According to the statistics provided in the last decade, 102 employees of the polio vaccination campaign and their bodyguards have been killed in armed attacks.
