US $2.5 million program to support Afghan journalists
SIGAR, the Office of the US Special Inspector General for the Reconstruction of Afghanistan, has announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country is supporting Afghan journalists with a program of two and a half million dollars.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Sigar published an article on X channel and wrote that this program under the title "Immune Reporting in Afghanistan" was launched by the Office of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor of the US Department of State.
 
According to Sigar newsletter, this program pursues four goals.
 
Providing urgent support to journalists at risk, strengthening the immunity of journalists, supporting the media to produce and publish content for the benefit of the public in a safe manner, and to work and fight against misleading information and censorship.
