Uzbekistan is building 1,600 hectares of gardens and agricultural land in Afghanistan
Officials in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate say that on the basis of three separate memorandums between the officials of this ministry and the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, the country of Uzbekistan in the area of 1,600 hectares of land in Afghanistan has vineyards, gardens with drip irrigation system, cotton fields, Build wheat, melons and vegetables.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Misbahuddin Mustain, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate, told Ava reporter about these memorandums of understanding that these memorandums were signed by the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture of the two countries in the presence of Mawlavi, the Ottoman Chancellor. , Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of Afghanistan and Jamshid Khajeyov, Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and a number of officials from the two countries were signed in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
 
According to him, on the basis of this memorandum, the country of Uzbekistan is supposed to Construction of different types of gardens in the area of 100 hectares of land, implementation of drip irrigation in 500 hectares of different types of fruit gardens.
 
He added that the Uzbek side of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Afghanistan should cooperate in the fields of improved seeds of wheat and cotton in the area of 500 hectares of land and seeds of different types of vegetables and melons in the area of 500 hectares of land.
 
Mr. Mustain added that these gardens and plantations will be built with the technical and financial cooperation of the country of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the experts of Afghanistan's agriculture sector in the area of 1,600 hectares of land in different provinces of Afghanistan that have suitable water, soil and climate.
 
The head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture added that these memorandums were signed during the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate to Uzbekistan between the officials of this Ministry and the investment departments of vineyards, modified eggs and vegetables of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan.
 
Earlier, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock had announced that the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of agricultural education with the Agricultural University of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
 
It can be recalled that a few days ago, a delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate, headed by Maulvi Sadr Azam Osmani, Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, traveled to Uzbekistan in order to expand relations and sign several cooperation agreements.
