An Afghan diplomat said, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has slashed taxes on coal exports and other items.

Dr Abdul Hannan Hamat affirmed IEA’s desire to establish exemplary trade relations with Pakistan and was taking concreted steps in this direction.

At a meeting with Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) on Friday, he hoped trade ties between the neighbours would rise considerably.
QCCI leaders briefed Dr Hamat on issues Pakistani traders have been facing in doing trade with Afghanistan.

In response, Hamat said was not against Pakistan and wanted to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
