Refugee Ministry Asks IOM’s Assistance for the New Returnees of Afghan Refugees in Torkham and Spin Boldak Ports
In a meeting with the officials of the humanitarian aid program for refugees, the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has asked the International Organization for Migration to continue its assistance to the new returnees of Afghan refugees in Spin Boldak and Torkham ports.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, According to a statement released by the Refugees and Repatriation Ministry, Qari Mohammad Ajmal Viyar, chief of staff of the ministry, met with Adnan Baghjati, in charge of access to humanitarian aid program, and Nicholas James Hill, a representative of the International Organization for Migration in Afghanistan.
 
In the meeting, they discussed exchangedange views about the suspension of the activities of the International Organization for Migration in Spin Boldak, Kandahar province.
 
Adnan assured about resuming their activities in these regions and mentioned some current challenges which he sought solutions for.
 
He added that the goal of the organization is to provide services to immigrants and returnees.
 
The chief of staff of the ministry emphasized the continued support of IOM to the families who had returned through the borders of Spin Boldak and Torkham border ports.
