The quality of services and communication networks in Balkh is improving
The spokesperson of the "ATRA" agency says that the complaints of the people of Balkh province regarding the poor communication network services of the province have been received by this agency and they have taken measures to solve this problem.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif city: Jalal Shams, the spokesperson of the Telecommunication Services Regulatory Authority of Afghanistan (ATRA) said in an interview with AVA: Afghanistan's telecommunication companies, both private and public, are obliged by statute and procedure to provide quality services to their subscribers. Providers and management have strict supervision over the implementation of telecommunications companies.
 
He added that ATRA administration evaluates the quality of telecommunication network services every quarter that their technical team has reviewed the operation of telecommunication networks in Balkh province and the necessary orders have been issued to improve the quality.
 
Shams added: Complaints of the people of Balkh province about the low quality services of telecommunication networks have reached me and the necessary measures have been taken to remove the problems or low quality services of the telecommunication networks or the problems have been removed.
 
The spokesman of the ATRA administration also clarified: In terms of providing internet services, telecommunication networks, the low-speed 3G is suffering from instability and weakness, but we are trying to change this type of service to 4G to reduce the problems of the people.
 
He said that the ATRA administration has decided to establish a system for monitoring disturbances or frequency failures throughout Afghanistan; because there is a disruption in the frequency of telecommunication networks in many parts of the country. This system will be implemented in Kabul soon and we are waiting for positive results.
 
He also added that investment in the telecommunication sector has increased after the provision of security throughout the country and soon we will witness the functioning of good telecommunication networks in all parts of Afghanistan.
 
The spokesperson of the agency said that the price of voice packages, text messages and internet in telecommunication networks has decreased by 40 to 50 percent.
 
It should be noted that telecommunication services in Afghanistan are still accompanied by serious deficiencies due to long years of war and insecurity, as well as lack of attention to infrastructure. Internet, are facing.
