Heavy clashes in Khartoum/ceasefire violation and suspension of Jeddah talks
The Al Jazeera network reported the fierce clashes between the Sudanese army and the rapid support forces around the industrial area and the new area of "Al-Hala" in the west of Khartoum, the capital of this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al Jazeera, the Rapid Support Forces announced in a statement that the army is responsible for the suspension of the Jeddah talks, which were held under the supervision of Saudi Arabia and the United States, and whose purpose was to establish a ceasefire.

The statement said that the army violated the previous agreement several times and killed and injured hundreds of civilians with aerial bombardment.

Meanwhile, the members of the United Nations Security Council on Friday local time issued a statement emphasizing the need for an immediate cessation of hostilities, facilitating humanitarian access and a permanent ceasefire, and resuming the process of achieving a sustainable, inclusive and democratic political solution in Sudan.

The statement of the UN Security Council states: The members of the Security Council reiterate their deep concern regarding the continuation of military conflicts between the armed forces of Sudan and the Rapid Support Forces.

The members of the UN Security Council strongly condemned all attacks against civilians, UN employees, as well as relief equipment, medical personnel and facilities and the looting of humanitarian equipment.

They called on all parties to ensure prompt, safe and unhindered access to humanitarian aid for the Sudanese people throughout the country.

The members of the Security Council emphasized the need to strengthen international coordination and continue their cooperation and firm support to the African leadership and pointed to the African Union's roadmap for resolving the conflict in Sudan.

The members of the Security Council also welcomed the efforts of the European Union to establish a dispute resolution mechanism in Sudan, the United Nations, the African Union and the Arab countries to ensure a sustainable peace process and resume the transfer of power through democracy in this country.

Since April 15, Sudan has witnessed a conflict between the army under the command of Abdul Fattah al-Barhan and the rapid reaction forces under the command of Muhammad Hamdan Daghlo (Hamidati), including in the capital Khartoum and other cities in the north and west of the country.

A cease-fire has been announced several times, but the parties continue to violate it.

The war across Sudan has left more than 1,800 dead. The United Nations announced that more than one million people have been displaced inside Sudan, and 300,000 people have sought refuge in neighboring countries.
