The Islamic Emirate says that ISIS does not have a physical presence in Afghanistan and this group has been suppressed in Afghanistan.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring:  According to a Washington Post report on the Pentagon's intelligence base, the ISIS group is trying to plan attacks on embassies, commercial centers, and the venues of the World Football Championships.

The secret information of the Pentagon, which was made available to the Washington Post, shows that after the withdrawal of American forces from the country, Afghanistan has become an important coordination center for the ISIS group.

"ISIS is developing external operations that rely on resources outside of Afghanistan, operatives in target countries, and extensive facilitation networks," the report reads in part.

According to the Washington Post, Pentagon officials were aware of nine plots designed by ISIS in Afghanistan in December last year, and this number has increased to 15 by February of this year.

But the Islamic Emirate, in response to this Washington Post report, says that ISIS does not have a physical presence in Afghanistan and that this group has been suppressed in Afghanistan.

Sohail Shahin, head of the Islamic Emirate office in Qatar, told TOLO News about this: "The Washington Post report is not in line with the objective realities of Afghanistan. These reports are written according to the wishes of those countries. The truth is that ISIS does not have a physical presence in Afghanistan because it was present during the occupation.

On the other hand, some political experts believe that ISIS must be completely suppressed in the country.

Najibullah Jame, a political expert, "About 21 months have passed since the Islamic Emirate's government.”Not only inside Afghanistan, but also to regional and neighboring countries, no threats have been made and no threats have been made against other countries based on the Doha Agreement."

Najib-ur-Rahman Shamal, an expert on political issues, said: "The increasing presence and activity of these groups inside Afghanistan, which aims to reach our neighboring countries, especially Central Asia, not only destabilizes Afghanistan, but also the neighboring countries." It destabilizes."

This report has been spread while the Islamic Emirate has carried out various operations against the Daesh group in the country in recent months, in which several key figures of Daesh have been killed. /TOLO NEWS
