The head of the vice president of treatment of Semnan University of Medical Sciences, Iran, announced this news on Wednesday (January 25) and said: In a humanitarian action with the selfless decision of the family of "Janbakhsh Mansour Mardani"; the body parts of this 26-year-old Afghan immigrant revived several painful patients of Afghan nationals.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Dr. Mohammad Khaleqi Hashemian, Acting Vice President of Treatment of Semnan University of Medical Sciences, continued: Janbakhsh Mansour Mardani from Panjshir province of Afghanistan and a resident of Semnan city, was admitted to the surgical ICU department of Kausar Hospital due to illness and unfortunately Despite the efforts of doctors and treatment staff, he suffered brain death.
 
He continued: The family of this Afghan immigrant, after learning that his brain death was confirmed by the doctors and considering the irreversible nature of this condition, made a well-intentioned decision to revive several patients in need of a transplant.
 
Dr. Hashemian continued: Believing that organ donation is a charitable and philanthropic formality that should be institutionalized in the society, Janbakhsh Mardani's family consented to the organ donation of all their child's vital organs.
 
He stated: According to the laws of organ donation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, if the organ donor is a foreign national, his recipients will also be patients on the national waiting list.
 
Meanwhile, last year, a 24-year-old young Afghan girl living in the city of Qom, after the drug poisoning and brain death, which made it impossible for her to continue living, donated her vital organs, saving the lives of several fellow Afghans.
