The officials of "Eco" countries reviewed the developments in the region and the situation in Afghanistan
At the 26th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization "ECO" in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, they reviewed the developments in the region, including the current situation in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The ECO meeting will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday. Turkey, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are members of this organization.
 
On the sidelines of this meeting, the foreign ministers of the ECO organization exchanged views on economic, commercial, development cooperation and developments in the region.
 
Çavuşoğlu said in a Twitter message: We met with my brother Zardari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan. There was a discussion about defense and economic cooperation and regional developments.
 
On the sidelines of this meeting, the foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan met and discussed about the creation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan and common issues.
 
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayermov, Iran Foreign Minister Hussain Amir Abdullahian, Kazakhistan Foreign Minister Mukhtar Tilobardi, Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Tajikistan Foreign Minister Sirajuddin Mehredin, Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Murdov and Khosro Nazeri, the Secretary General of this institution, and representatives of a number of international organizations were present in that meeting.
 
It should be noted that no representative from Afghanistan was present in this meeting.
