TV channel employees targeted in Kabul attack
A vehicle carrying employees of a privately-owned TV channel exploded in Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday, killing at least two people, officials said.
The blast happened in Taimani area, Police District 15 of the city at 5:30pm.

It was triggered by a magnetic bomb attached to a vehicle carrying employees of Khurshid TV channel, said Nasrat Rahimi, a spokesman for Interior Ministry.

One pedestrian and the driver of another vehicle were killed in the bombing.

Three others were wounded in the incident, including two employees of the broadcaster and one pedestrian.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.

It comes more than a month after the Taliban issued a threat to media saying journalists would be targeted unless the outlets stop government advertisements against the group.
