Shahzad plunders century as Afghanistan thrash Ireland to level ODI series
The Afghanistan National Cricket Team on Tuesday levelled the two-match One Day International (ODI) series by beating Ireland by 126 runs.
 
The second final match of the series was played in Belfast with Ireland electing to field first after winning the toss.
The Afghan team managed to set a target of 306 runs from 50 overs by losing 7 wickets with Mohammad Shahzad scoring 101 runs from 88 balls.
Rahmat Shah scored 62 runs, Najibullah Zadran 60, Hashmatullah Shahidi 47, Asghar Afghan 14, Noor Ali Zadran 5, and Gulbadin Naib 3.
The Irish batsmen could not chase the given target and lost all their wicket in the 41st over of the game.
Gulbadin Naib took 6 wickets, Dawlat Zadran, Aftab Alam, and Rahmat Shah 1 wicket each to restrict the Irish batsmen to 179.
