Karzai fully supports the formation of the Grand National Coalition formed by the political parties

The former Afghan President Hamid Karzai declared full support to the objectives of the Grand National Coalition of Afghanistan.


AVA- The Office of the Former President in a statement said the Former President Hamid Karzai fully supports the formation of the Grand National Coalition formed by the political parties, Peoples’ Councisl, Civil Society, and representatives of various provinces, and its objectives for unity among the people and transparent elections.
The statement further added that the Former President express hopes that the Afghan nation would curb the interferences of the foreigners and their plans to spark tensions among the people, through such joint efforts.
The Office of the Former President also added that Mr. Karzai hopes that such joint efforts would lead to further strengthening of unity among the Afghans, sovereignty of the country and democracy, and would pave the way for peace and transparent elections.
A number of political leaders on Thursday announced the formation of the National Grand Coalition of Afghanistan.
The members of the coalition are saying that the Grand National Coalition of Afghanistan has been formed with an aim to work for better governance, job creation, maintaining stability, peace talks, transparent elections, and improvement of the security situation of the country.
One of the leadership members of the party, Ata Mohammad Noor, said the new coalition was formed due to the growing instability, poverty, ethnic divisions, and physical removal of the political figures, monopoly of power, and other key issues the country is facing.
Noor further added that the new coalition will declare its programs in the near future.
